Project
The
main goal of this
project is to determine the location of the splices in the cable, that
is, the points of electric and mechanical junction of three or more
wires (each one linked to a connector), minimizing the copper used in
all the cable. There are several constraints, namely minimum distances
between splices, relations between the number of wires in each side
(left and right) of the splice, parts of the cable where splices should
not be placed, etc..
This project includes the development of a web-based application using
the Microsoft .NET framework.
The main application components include:
- USER INTERFACE
- ADMINISTRATOR INTERFACE
- SOLVERS
This project is a sequence of the previous project Optimization of Diversity and Distribution of Cable Configuration for Automobile Industry.
